Woman killed in fatal four-car crash in Lakeside

SAN DIEGO, CA – NBC reports that a woman was killed in a four-car crash on Route 67 early Monday morning on March 23rd. The 37-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle on the rain-soaked roads and veered into oncoming traffic. Her vehicle hit a truck which then ran head-on into a SUV. That SUV then crashed into a trailer-towing truck. The chain-reaction crash led to at least one other victim being seriously injured.

Police believe that no alcohol or drugs were involved in the incident, instead citing the wet roads as a potentially contributing factor.
