Two-vehicle crash on I-5
SAN DIEGO, CA – According to the California Highway Police’s traffic logs, a two-vehicle crash occurred last night on Interstate 5. Police were alerted to the incident at around 9:14 p.m. on southbound I-5 near the Encinitas Boulevard offramp. Three vehicles were pulled over on the righthand side of the road, all of them with their hazards on. A green Toyota Highlander and a light-colored Lexus had collided on the interstate. The third vehicle, a blue Toyota Prius, was following the Lexus and pulled over as a witness.
CHP has not released any further information on what led to the collision, but they have confirmed that no injuries were sustained in the crash.
