Swerving Vehicle Crashes on SR 905 East

SAN DIEGO, CA – A Black Toyota RAV 4 crashed into the guardrail on the right side of eastbound SR 905. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that the accident occurred near Smythe Avenue at 12:35 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28. The Toyota appears to be the only car involved in the crash. A witness who reported the accident to the CHP stated that the car was swerving before the crash.

Police officers on the scene believe the vehicle damaged approximately 50 feet of the highway guardrail. The vehicle was severely damaged in the accident, and the police have called a tow truck to remove the vehicle from the scene. Police officers believe the driver may have been injured in the crash, and they have called an ambulance to assess the driver’s injuries.
