Single vehicle crashes on I-8
SAN DIEGO, CA – The driver of a gold car crashed into a central divider while driving on Interstate 8 West on Tuesday.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the driver crashed on I-8 near Waring road at 1:42 p.m. on May 5. A witness told officers that no other vehicles were near the car when it swerved and hit the divider.
Officers on the scene report that the car’s windshield cracked in the collision. However, the police did not call for a tow truck to remove the car.
CHP reports that the driver was injured in the accident. An ambulance was called to the scene to treat these injuries and transport the driver to the hospital if necessary.
