Semi-truck hit by flying debris in Oceanside
SAN DIEGO, CA – A semi-truck has suffered damage to the windshield of their vehicle due to flying debris on northbound Interstate 5 this morning. The incident was reported at 11 a.m. on Interstate 5 and Vista Way. The California Highway Patrol reports that a black, red, and white stake bed truck lost items from the back of the truck. The debris went flying backwards and smashed into the windshield of a semi-truck behind it.
Cleaning crews are currently on the scene, and we recommend motorists avoid the area at this time.
