San Diego-One Person Killed When SUV Crashes Into A Tree And Highway Near The La Jolla Indian Reservation
One person was killed Tuesday afternoon, May 21, 2019, at State Route 76, close to the La Jolla Indian Reservation. The accident reportedly took place about 2 miles northwest of Lake Henshaw in the Mesa Grande area before 5 pm, Tuesday last week, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The vehicle was a white SUV. The white SUV reportedly crashed into a tree before crashing off the eastern side of the rural route. The vehicle plunged about 40 feet down a rocky embankment. The vehicle winded up on the embankment’s roof with the person trapped inside the vehicle before that individual eventually died from severe injuries.
