San Diego drivers to get extensions on expired driver licenses
SAN DIEGO, CA – According to Patch.com, San Diego motorists with expired driver licenses between March and May of 2020 can now get an extension through May 31st. The DMV has made a public announcement, but drivers can get a temporary paper extension online if desired. Additionally, there will be no late fees associated with renewals.
California police have been told not to issue citations or arrests at this time. However, it’s important to note that drivers with a suspended license have not been given any leniency at this time, and police will act accordingly.
