Reckless Driving Causes Crash on I-5 South
SAN DIEGO, CA – A driver in a white Toyota crashed into a red Jeep on I-5 South, at 2:30 PM on Thursday. Both vehicles spun out of control due to the impact, and they may have hit a third vehicle on the road. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers report that the Toyota driver was driving recklessly before the accident occurred. Officers suspect that alcohol or drug use may have also played a factor in the crash.
There have been no injuries reported from the crash at this time. However, both the Toyota and the Jeep were severely damaged and required a tow truck. We will continue to monitor and update this story as more information is released.
