Pedestrian seriously injured in Kensington hit-and-run
SAN DIEGO, CA – A 56-year-old pedestrian was critically injured in a hit-and-run accident in the Kensington neighborhood area on Tuesday evening. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, local business traffic cameras caught footage of an older, white Expedition running a stoplight and striking a man at around 7 p.m. The victim was crossing the street at the crosswalk on El Cajon Boulevard and Copeland Avenue when the collision occurred.
Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital with significant injuries, including a brain bleed, a collapsed lung, and several rib fractures.
