Pedestrian killed after being hit my multiple cars on Interstate 5
SAN DIEGO, CA – 10News reports that on Sunday night, March 16th, a pedestrian was killed on southbound I-5, north of Cesar Chavez Parkway. The pedestrian was apparently walking on I-5 when they were struck by a vehicle. After the initial crash, several other vehicles hit the pedestrian as well.
California Highway Patrol says that they are unclear as to whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident. CHP closed I-5 between Cesar Chavez Parkway and Logan Avenue for investigation and cleanup.
