Pedestrian critically injured after being hit by a car in Vista
SAN DIEGO, CA – Authorities responded to the scene of a pedestrian-vehicle accident at the intersection of Civic Center Drive and South Santa Fe Avenue at 8:41 p.m. last night. The victim, a 59-year-old Vista man, was critically injured in the accident and was rushed to Palomar Medical Center for treatment. According to NBC San Diego, the victim was crossing Civic Center Drive when he was struck by a car heading southbound. The 31-year-old driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
