Parts of C Street shut down for criminal investigation
SAN DIEGO, CA – The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that the section of C Street from 30th to Edgemont was closed down yesterday afternoon for a police investigation. A 16-year-old boy was found on a Golden Hill roadside with a life-threatening head injury. He was treated at the scene and then taken to a hospital for further treatment. Police say it’s unclear as to whether the injury was caused by criminal activity, an accident, or a medical emergency.
Police say that the boy was likely riding in a large black SUV at the time of the accident, but the location of the vehicle is unknown at this time.
Roads have reopened, and we’ll update you as we find out more details about the incident.
