Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident
SAN DIEGO, CA – A 66-year-old man crashed into Nissan on Interstate 805 on Wednesday. The accident occurred near Otay Mesa at 10:50 PM. The motorcyclist was riding a Vectrix scooter when he collided with the vehicle and flew off of the scooter onto the street. Police officers pronounced the motorcyclist dead when they arrived at the scene.
The 22-year-old Nissan driver was unharmed in the crash. The driver remained at the scene to assist police officers and provide a report of the accident. According to Fox 5 San Diego, police do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident.
