Major two-vehicle crash in Palm City
SAN DIEGO, CA – A two-vehicle crash occurred this morning on northbound Interstate 5 and State Route 75. According to the California Highway Patrol, police received reports of the major accident at around 10:19 a.m. It appears that two vehicles collided at high speed, but police are unsure how the accident occurred at this time. One car is in the right-side ditch, and one vehicle is in the center divide; both are in bad shape.
Multiple cars have pulled over to help the individuals involved in the car accident, and citizens worked to pull at least one injured person out of a vehicle. It’s unclear how many people were injured in the accident, but emergency responders did transport at least one person to a nearby hospital.
Police are currently on the scene and have closed down the surrounding road for the time being. Our team will continue to monitor the story closely, and we will post an update if we learn new information.
