Lyft driver carjacked by teenagers near Petco Park

SAN DIEGO, CA – The Times of San Diego reports that a Lyft driver was carjacked on Thursday evening near Petco Park. The 22-year-old Lyft driver picked up four teenagers, all between 15 and 17 years old, and drove them to their requested location at Imperial Avenue and Park Boulevard. Upon entering the parking lot at around 6:45 p.m., one of the teenagers drew a gun and demanded that drive leave the 2015 Hyundai Sonata with them.

The teenage boys left with the vehicle and have not been seen since. The vehicle license plate is 8FCE374. Please contact the San Diego Police Department at 619-531-2900 if you have any information about the case.
