La Mesa man killed in high-speed accident
SAN DIEGO, CA – Jacob Arnell, of La Mesa, was killed on March 9th in a high-speed crash on the on-ramp of Interstate-5 near Sea World Drive in Mission Bay. According to Fox 5 San Diego, the 26-year-old driver was entering the on-ramp at a high-speed when he lost control of his white Cadillac. Arnell veered off the road, into a near embankment, and crashed his vehicle into a tree. Police say speed was the definitive factor in the accident.
Arnell died at the scene of the accident. No other vehicles or persons were involved.
