Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident
SAN DIEGO, CA – A person driving a black pick-up truck hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Eighth Avenue and B Street and then fled the scene. The Times of San Diego reports that the accident occurred at 4:35 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28. When police officers arrived on the scene, they transported the 30-year-old man to the hospital with critical injuries. The man died in the hospital shortly after the accident.
Police believe that the pick-up truck hit the pedestrian and then dragged the man’s body across a parking lot. Police are still searching for the driver of the black Ford F-150, who caused the accident.
