Hit and Run Motorcycle Accident
SAN DIEGO, CA – A red Kawasaki motorcycle hit a commercial truck, as the truck was turning at the intersection of Enrico Fermi Drive and Siempre Viva Road. The accident occurred at approximately 9:26 a.m. on Thursday, April 23. The motorcyclist was driving at high speeds, which prevented him from stopping before hitting the semi-truck. The driver fell off of his motorcycle in the collision.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) traffic incident page, the semi-truck’s driver stopped the vehicle and attempted to exchange information with the motorcyclist. However, the motorcyclist refused to provide his information and told the semi-truck driver he did not want to involve the police. The motorcyclist drove away after this exchange.
CHP officers are currently looking for the motorcyclist who left the scene. They have identified the rider as a Hispanic man in his late 20s. They believe he is approximately five feet and six inches tall and weighs between 150 and 160 pounds.
