Hit-and-Run Injures Pedestrian in a Wheelchair
SAN DIEGO, CA – NBC 7 San Diego reports that a driver hit a man in a wheelchair and then left the scene of the accident. The hit-and-run incident occurred near 16th Street and Island Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 25.
Police officers on the scene believe the pedestrian sustained serious injuries, but they have not released any additional information about his current condition. They believe the driver who caused the accident was driving a white Dodge truck, but the police have no further information about the suspect at this time.
