High-speed hit-and-run on Interstate 15
SAN DIEGO, CA – A hit-and-run accident occurred in Fallbrook last night. According to reports from the California Highway Patrol, the high-speed hit-and-run happened at around 7:48 p.m. on Interstate 15 near Mission Boulevard. Both vehicles were driving at approximately 90 mph when the victim cut off the unknown driver. The unidentified driver retaliated by crashing into the other vehicle and then driving off.
Police report that the victim did get a blurry photo of the license plate on the other vehicle. CHP is looking for a car with the plate 8LWH825. If you have any information on the crash or the vehicle involved, please contact the California Highway Patrol at 800-835-5247.
