Flooded roads lead to car crash near I-5 and Market Street
SAN DIEGO, CA – Heavy rains and flooded roads led to a slew of accidents on April 10th. NBC San Diego reports that two women driving in a jeep near I-5 and Market street were unable to control their vehicle as it slid off the road and into a ditch nearby.
The two women were trapped in the vehicle, but neither woman reported any injuries at the time of the accident. Police used inflatable rafts to rescue the women, and the jeep was later retrieved by a tow truck.
