Driver injured in single-vehicle crash on Champagne Boulevard
OCEANSIDE, CA – The California Highway Patrol reports a driver is injured after a truck crashed on Champagne Boulevard near Old Castle Road on Wednesday.
The driver crashed the vehicle at approximately 4:25 a.m. on May 6 and then moved the car to the right side of the road. Police officers reported that the white Toyota pick-up truck was the only vehicle involved, but they have not released any information about the cause of the accident.
An ambulance transported the driver to a local hospital to treat injuries the driver sustained in the crash. The police on the scene have not stated the type or severity of these injuries.
The truck was severely damaged in the accident and required a tow truck to remove it from the road.
