Car Fire on I-15 North
OCEANSIDE, CA – A driver in a black car pulled over to the right side of the road after the vehicle started smoking and then caught fire. The California Highway Patrol reports that the fire started at 3:09 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29. The driver pulled over on Interstate 15 near Rainbow Valley after the car’s engine started emitting heavy smoke from under the front hood.
The driver exited the vehicle before the car burst into flame, and the driver appears to be unharmed at this time. Police officers called the fire department to assist on the scene and put out the vehicle fire.
