Car Crashes into Tree on I-805 South
SAN DIEGO, CA – A driver in a black sedan drove into the bushes and then crashed into a tree, on the right-hand shoulder of Interstate 805 South, near SR-54 E. The accident occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Friday, April 17, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic incident information page.
When San Diego police officers arrived at the scene, two other drivers had pulled over to assist the driver who crashed. However, the black sedan was the only vehicle involved in the crash. Police called an ambulance to the scene, but they have not reported the type of severity of the driver’s injuries at this time. The sedan was seriously damaged in the crash and required a tow truck to remove it from the road.
