Wrong-way driver causes three-vehicle accident on Interstate 5
SAN DIEGO, CA – A single vehicle spun on out on northbound Interstate 5 and was sitting in the opposite lanes of the highway when at least two other vehicles crashed into the wrong-way driver. According to the California Highway Patrol, a maroon vehicle, a silver sedan, and an unknown vehicle were all involved in the collision on I-5 near Old Town.
Police arrived on the scene at around 10:05 a.m. and found two vehicles with significant front-end damage. At this time, it’s unclear if anyone suffered injuries in the collision. Our team will continue monitoring the situation and post an update as new information is released.
