Woman injured by hit-and-run driver on I-8
SAN DIEGO, CA – A woman was injured in a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 8 on Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A woman was driving a dark grey Scion in the westbound lanes when she was struck by a vehicle near Mission Gorge Road just before noon.
The other driver immediately left the scene and the woman was not able to give a description of the vehicle that fled.
Injuries were reported from the incident but further details are still unclear. We will update this story should more information become available.
