Vehicle fire shuts down I-5 on-ramp
SAN DIEGO, CA – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol were forced to close all lanes on a busy I-5 on-ramp following a vehicle fire Thursday evening.
According to Caltrans, the incident was reported at about 5:39 on the ramp from westbound State Route 905 to southbound I-5.

No injuries were reported as an immediate result of the blaze. However, the ramp was shut down for about an hour, reopening at about 6:40 p.m.
