Vehicle fire leads to blocked lanes on I-15
SAN DIEGO, CA – According to Caltrans San Diego, a car caught fire yesterday evening on Interstate 15.
A vehicle traveling southbound on I-15 caught fire just south of Rainbow Valley Boulevard at around 5:58 p.m. The stalled, flaming car completely blocked the two rightmost lanes of the highway for about an hour. It’s unclear at this time how the car caught fire or if any injuries were sustained in the accident.
