UPDATE: Road debris near Sea World causes traffic hazard
SAN DIEGO, CA – Our team posted earlier about a ladder in the roadway near Sea World that was causing vehicles to swerve in order to avoid the debris. The California Highway Patrol reports that an accident was caused by the ladder this morning. A vehicle was hit when the ladder fell off a truck traveling southbound on Interstate 5. According to police, a witness caught the incident on video and alerted police to the accident at around 11:40 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle struck by the ladder was uninjured in the collision. It’s unclear how much damage the debris caused the vehicle.
