Two injured when pickup truck overturns in El Cajon
SAN DIEGO, CA – Two people were injured when a pickup truck overturned in the bushes along State Route 79 in El Cajon on Thursday afternoon.
According to CHP, a grey Ford F-150 crashed and overturned in the 37100 block of State Route 79 which is near the Oak Grove Fire Station at about 3:40 p.m. The vehicle slid about 50 feet from the road.
When emergency crews arrived, they assessed the victims and found that they both had sustained lacerations.
They were transported to an area hospital.
The vehicle was towed from the scene after being recovered.
The cause of the accident is unclear.
