Two-car accident reported on I-5 in Encinitas
SAN DIEGO, CA – Two vehicles were involved in a car accident on Interstate 5 in the Encinitas area on Friday morning, according to CHP.
A black Honda Civic was southbound on I-5 when it crashed at about 10:10 a.m. The collision turned the Honda around so that, after striking the righthand guardrail, it came to rest against it facing the wrong way.
An ambulance was called to the scene and one person, a passenger in the vehicle, was taken to the hospital.
