Traffic News: Hazard impacting roadway
OCEANSIDE, CA – A report came in of a traffic hazard on the I-15 northbound near Dear Springs, states California Highway Patrol.
The person who filed the report almost hit a ladder that had fallen into the roadway from a passing vehicle. The ladder is in the middle lane of the I-15 and the size of the ladder is dangerous to passing vehicles.
Within five minutes of the report, a black truck hit the ladder and popped one tire. The driver was able to pull their vehicle over to the center divider. A tow truck was called for the driver of the black truck.
The highway patrol has dispatched a unit to the area to remove the hazard before another car is impacted by the ladder.
