Santa Clara, CA- 1 Person Dead And 2 Others Injured After Stolen Vehicle Crashed Into A Rideshare Car
A 28-year old woman was killed and 2 others injured after a stolen vehicle crashed into a rideshare car in Santa Clara, CA on early Sunday, August 25, 2019. The 28-year old woman killed and a 26-year old man who was seriously injured in the crash were passengers in a rideshare car when the rideshare car was struck by a stolen vehicle, a 1996 Honda Accord. The driver of the mentioned rideshare car was a 28-year old from Santa Clara. The rideshare driver was injured in the accident, too. The driver of the stolen vehicle was a 32-year old man. He obtained treatment for minor injuries at a hospital before he was booked in jail. The rideshare car was reportedly making a left turn from Cabrillo Avenue onto Lawrence Expressway when the driver of the stolen vehicle, driving south on Lawrence, ran a red light and broadsided the rideshare car.

A 31-year old woman pulling her scooter into a Mission Bay hotel Monday night was struck by a taxicab and severely injured. The scooter accident took place around 5 p.m. on East Mission Bay Drive. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the woman was turning left into the Hilton Hotel driveway when the 45-year old cab driver pulled in front of her. The woman slammed into the taxicab and suffered serious injuries to her leg. An investigation is ongoing, but police believe the man was in violation of the scooter’s right of way. Read the rest »
A 28-year-old pregnant woman was struck by a taxi at 4800 Camino De La Plaza on January 3, 2012, around 7:30 p.m. in San Ysidro. According to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros, woman was crossing the street (not in a crosswalk) when a westbound taxi hit the in the roadway.
The woman was seven months pregnant and lost her unborn child in this tragic pedestrian crash. The pedestrian also suffered severe head trauma and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Singer Gaven DeGraw was hit by a cab minutes after being attacked in NYC early Monday‚ August 8. The musician was transported by an ambulance to Bellevue Hospital and treated for severe injuries.
Law enforcement reports that a witness saw the cab strike the singer and called 911. Gavin’s rep says that the singer is suffering from multiple wounds‚ including a concussion‚ broken nose‚ black eyes‚ cuts‚ and bruises.
