SAN DIEGO, CA – An early morning accident and vehicle fire was reported by CHP in Temecula Friday.
The incident occurred just a few minutes before 5 a.m., when a small sedan ran off the roadway on Interstate 15 near McCall Boulevard.
The vehicle landed about 50 feet off the road in the ditch along the southbound lanes. The occupants were able to exit their vehicle before it caught on fire. Within 5 minutes, the vehicle was fully engulfed.
The fire department was called to extinguish the flames. An ambulance was also called to the scene, although it is unclear whether anyone was injured.
