Man run over and killed after he falls over outside San Ysidro outlets
SAN YSIDRO, CA – A man who’d fallen into a street after leaving a business was run over and killed by a driver leaving a nearby parking lot in San Ysidro yesterday afternoon, according to Fox 5 San Diego.
The accident happened at around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Virginia St and E San Ysidro Blvd when a 61-year-old man tripped and fell face-first into the street.
The driver of a Cadillac Escalade SUV who was exiting a parking lot then ran over the victim, who has yet to be publicly identified.
The victim died from injuries sustained in the accident.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
