Another person was killed after being struck by another Caltrain going southbound near the Castro street-crossing in Mountain View, Silicon Valley, in the San Francisco Bay Area, on Monday July 22, 2019. This crash occurred a few hours after the first deadly pedestrian crash occurred in the same location. The second pedestrian struck by the train and killed was reportedly a man who was on the track when the train passed by and struck him. There were 118 passengers inside the train that struck the man. No passengers in the train were injured.
