Moving van causes accident on Temecula freeway

SAN DIEGO, CA – A large moving van caused a multi-vehicle accident after crashing in the divider on Interstate 215 n Temecula on Monday morning.

According to CHP, a big rig moving van crashed with the divider at the exit ramp for Murrieta Hot Springs Road at about 4 a.m. The truck was diagonal across the lanes and two more vehicles quickly became involved in the accident, knocking down about a dozen attenuators and displacing some of the concrete barriers.

One freeway lane and part of the offramp was closed to clear the accident and repair the damage.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured in the accident.

Semi-truck and sedan collide in Spring Valley

SPRING VALLEY, CA – A semi-truck was involved in an accident this afternoon in Spring Valley. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on State Route 94 near Bancroft Drive at around 1:34 p.m.

A semi-truck and a silver sedan were both traveling eastbound on SR-94 when they collided for unknown reasons. At this time, it’s unclear if anyone was injured in the accident.

Driver uninjured after truck hits-and-runs in Oceanside

SAN DIEGO, CA – The driver escaped injury when a tractor-trailer tried to pass their small SUV and struck them in Oceanside on Tuesday morning.

According to CHP, the driver of a green GMC Envoy was northbound on Interstate 5 when a truck pulling a long white trailer attempted to pass the SUV. The truck rear-ended the vehicle but then continued on toward the north without stopping.

Thankfully the driver was uninjured in the incident. However, the victim was unable to move the stick-shift car and a tow truck was called to take the vehicle from the scene.

Semi-truck crashes and overturns in Boulder Oaks

BOULDER OAKS, CA – A semi-truck crashed and overturned near Mountain Empire High School this morning in Boulder Oaks. According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 3305 Buckman Springs Road at around 8:27 a.m.

Police reported that the axel of the truck broke while the driver was traveling on Buckman Springs Road. The semi-truck driver lost control of the vehicle, veered off the righthand side of the road, and overturned the truck.

The driver suffered unknown injuries in the accident and had to be transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Semi-truck involved in accident in Bonsall

BONSALL, CA – A semi-truck accident occurred this morning in Bonsall near the Historic San Luis Rey Bridge. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on State Route 76 and Old River Road at around 7:15 a.m.

A white semi-truck and a white Tesla were traveling on SR-76 when they collided for unknown reasons.

No injuries were reported at the time of the accident.

Cement truck catches fire in I-15

SAN DIEGO, CA – Officials responded to the scene of a vehicle fire on Interstate 15 on Friday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.

A cement truck was reported on the righthand side of the southbound lanes near Camino Del Norte with the hood of the cab up at about 7:20 a.m. Smoke was coming from the vehicle and under the hood.

At this time, there is no word on whether anyone sustained injuries in the incident.

Swerving truck crashes in center divide on I-15

SAN DIEGO, CA – A utility truck crashed in the center divide on Interstate 15 after driving erratically down the Temecula Valley Freeway on Wednesday.

According to CHP, the truck was northbound when it swerved and crashed on the right side of the road then ricocheted into the center divide near Railroad Canyon Road at about 4:40 p.m. The vehicle ended up facing the wrong way in the center of the freeway divider.

At this time, there have been no reports of injuries in the crash, although an ambulance did respond to the scene. We will update this story should more information come to light.

EL CAJON, CA – A semi-truck crashed and rolled over this morning in El Cajon near the Pacific Crest Trail. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on State Route 76 at around 7:21 a.m.

The driver of a semi-truck took the curve took quickly and crashed the vehicle in a rollover accident. The vehicle was damaged in the crash and had to be towed from the scene.

Semi-truck overturns and lands on gas line in Oceanside

OCEANSIDE, CA – The California Highway Patrol reported a semi-truck accident this morning in Oceanside. According to the accident report, the collision occurred on State Route 76 near Rice Canyon Road at around 6:52 a.m.

A multi-axel box truck was traveling on SR-76 when the driver lost control of the vehicle and veered off of the roadway. The vehicle drove through bushes and rolled over.

When police arrived at the scene, they found that the semi-truck has landed on to a gas line.

The 61-year-old male driver of the truck suffered injuries in the collision and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

No further details are known at this time.

Motorcycle and construction truck cause pileup in Temecula

SAN DIEGO, CA – Several vehicles were involved in a pileup accident starting with a motorcycle and a construction truck in Temecula on Thursday afternoon.

According to CHP, a motorcycle and a construction truck collided in the 23300 block of residential Mapes Avenue at about 4:50 p.m. The vehicles were both in the roadway and within a couple of minutes, more vehicles had crashed into the original incident.

One of the vehicles was also leaking fuel into the street.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene but an update on any injuries has not been released. We will update this story should more information become available.
