Motorcycle and vehicle collide in Pala Mesa

PALA MESA, CA – The California Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle and vehicle crash this morning in Pala Mesa near Keys Canyon. According to the traffic report, the collision occurred on Interstate 15 and State Route 76 at around 5:54 a.m.

At this time, it’s not clear how the accident occurred. We can confirm that when the police arrived at the scene, they found the motorcycle in the middle lanes and the male rider on the roadway.

Two bikers killed in crash with off-road vehicle in El Cajon

SAN DIEGO, CA – The operator and passenger of a motorcycle were killed in a collision with an off-road vehicle in El Cajon on Sunday afternoon.

According to local Fox News, the motorcycle crashed with a side-by-side utility task vehicle on Littlepage Lane near Old Julian Highway at about 2:10 p.m.

Both people on the motorcycle were both pronounced dead at the scene.

There were four people riding on the off-road vehicle. None was injured.

CHP responds to reports of motorcyclist lying on SR 15

SAN DIEGO, CA – California Highway Patrol officers responded to reports of a motorcyclist lying on a State Route 15 onramp following a crash Sunday evening.

According to their reports, the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. The rider was reported to be lying on the righthand side of the onramp from Market Street to southbound State Route 15 at about 5:30 p.m.

It is unclear how the accident occurred. The condition of the rider has not been released.

Motorcyclist thrown from bike after being cut off on I-8

SAN DIEGO, CA – Parties from more than one vehicle sustained injuries after an accident on Interstate 8, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A black four-door sedan was driving east when it cut off several vehicles in traffic near Mission Gorge Road at about 5:15 p.m. As the driver cut in front of a motorcycle, the biker attempted to stop, but hit the back of the sedan and went flying into the air.

At least two people sustained injuries that were considered minor, but further details were not available on Tuesday evening.

SAN DIEGO, CA – One person was involved in a motorcycle accident on State Route 97 in El Cajon on Monday afternoon, according to CHP.

A motorcycle crashed in the area near Palomar Divide Truck Trail at about 12:30 p.m. The motorcycle was blocking the road while the man was lying on the side of the road.

An ambulance was called to the scene and emergency workers were performing CPR on the victim.

Three vehicles involved in crash near Temecula border checkpoint

TEMECULA, CA – Three vehicles were involved in an accident this morning in Temecula near the border checkpoint. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on Interstate 15 at around 6:15 a.m.

A red Hyundai, a grey Mazda, and a motorcycle were all involved in the crash. While the details on the accident are unknown at this time, we can confirm that the motorcycle crashed into the back of one of the involved vehicles.

Motorcycle and construction truck cause pileup in Temecula

SAN DIEGO, CA – Several vehicles were involved in a pileup accident starting with a motorcycle and a construction truck in Temecula on Thursday afternoon.

According to CHP, a motorcycle and a construction truck collided in the 23300 block of residential Mapes Avenue at about 4:50 p.m. The vehicles were both in the roadway and within a couple of minutes, more vehicles had crashed into the original incident.

One of the vehicles was also leaking fuel into the street.

Victim hospitalized after motorcycle crash

SAN DIEGO, CA – One person was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle collision on Interstate 805 early Monday morning, according to CHP.

A black Kawasaki Ninja 650R bike crashed with a vehicle on the ramp to the northbound lanes near Bonita Road at about 3:52. When the emergency crews arrived, they began searching the area for the victim but were unable to find them.

Upon investigation, authorities discovered that the victim had been transported from the crash scene in a private vehicle and taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital. The victim was given a bed in the trauma ward. An update on their condition has not been made available.

U-Haul drives flees Vista scene after injuring motorcyclist

SAN DIEGO, CA – The driver of a U-Haul injured a motorcyclist in a small chain-reaction crash then fled the Vista scene on Sunday night, according to the Times of San Diego.

A U-Haul van was turning into traffic from a gas station on North Melrose Drive at about 5 p.m. The van struck the motorcycle, which then hit another vehicle. The U-Haul driver immediately fled the scene.

The motorcyclist was wearing protective equipment at the time of the crash and sustained only minor injuries.

Several witnesses remained at the crash site and were able to report the events to law enforcement.

At least one person injured in I-15 motorcycle crash

SAN DIEGO, CA – At least one person was injured in a motorcycle versus vehicle accident on Interstate 15 on Thursday morning, according to CHP.

The motorcycle and vehicle crashed on Interstate 15 north near Murrieta Hot Springs Road at about 6:15 a.m.

One of the drivers, a female, broke her leg in the crash and was laying in the center divide when emergency crews arrived. It was unclear whether she was the driver of the motorcycle or the other involved vehicle.
