Motorcyclist suffers broken ankle in Clairemont hit-and-run

SAN DIEGO, CA – A driver collided with a motorcyclist, causing him serious injuries, then left the scene of the accident in the Clairemont area on Thanksgiving night.

According to The Times of San Diego, the accident occurred in the 4400 block of Clairemont Drive at about 7:50 p.m. when a dark-colored Ford vehicle, described as possibly an SUV or a pickup truck, made a left turn onto Clairemont Dr.

The truck then collided with a motorcyclist, who had attempted to avoid the collision by swerving into the middle of the roadway.

The motorcycle then crashed into two other vehicles that had been parked on the side of Clairemont.

The driver of the Ford then fled the scene and was last seen on Clairemont.

The motorcyclist suffered multiple non-critical injuries, including a broken ankle, and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the accident at this time.

Motorcyclist dies in a fiery I-805 crash

SAN DIEGO, CA – One person died in a fiery motorcycle crash on Interstate 805 on Monday evening, according to local ABC 10 News.

The motorcyclist had been northbound when it crashed near Kearny Villa Road at about 5:30 p.m.

The rider was reported to be down and bleeding in the roadway while the motorcycle burned nearby and was later pronounced dead. Their identity has not been released.

Two lanes were closed for hours on Monday night.

22-year-old motorcyclist in critical condition after T-bone accident in Mira Mesa

SAN DIEGO, CA – A crash between a motorcycle and an SUV in Mira Mesa last night led to a 22-year-old man being taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the Times of San Diego.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Marauder Way and Camino Ruiz at about 10:30 p.m. when the motorcyclist T-boned a Toyota Rav4 SUV.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with multiple, severe injuries, including multiple fractures.

The other driver was not injured in the accident.

One of the drivers, though it is unclear which one, reportedly ran a traffic light just before the collision.

Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims.

Motorcyclist severely injured in crash with SUV

One suffers minor injuries in Temecula motorcycle accident

SAN DIEGO, CA – One person suffered minor injuries in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 215 in Temecula on Friday morning.

According to California Highway Patrol, a rider was ejected from their motorcycle and down in the fast lane of southbound I-215 near Murrieta Hot Springs Road at about 7:45 a.m. The motorcyclist had rear-ended another vehicle before being thrown onto the freeway.

One person suffered minor injuries.

Update: Motorcyclist seriously injured on Coronado

SAN DIEGO, CA – A motorcyclist was seriously injured on Silver Strand Boulevard on Coronado on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Times of San Diego.

The accident happened on State Route 75, also called Silver Strand Boulevard, just a little after noon near Coronado Cays Boulevard.

The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

All lanes were closed for a time. One lane was opened at about 2:30 p.m. but all lanes were not reopened until around 5 p.m.

Motorcyclist injured in Pala Mesa accident

PALA MESA, CA – A motorcyclist was injured this morning after colliding with a vehicle in Pala Mesa near Keys Canyon. According to the California Highway Patrol’s accident logs, the accident occurred on Interstate 15 and State Route 76 at around 5:40 a.m.

The motorcyclist told police that a Ford F150 was traveling southbound on I-15 when the truck suddenly stopped. The motorcyclist was behind the Ford in the lane and couldn’t slow in time before crashing into the back of the truck.

Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown at this time.

SAN DIEGO, CA – A man hurt his back after his motorcycle crashed into a pole on Interstate 5 near Sea World on Thursday morning.

According to CHP, the motorcycle crashed into a pole in the northbound lanes just passed Sea World Drive at about 10 a.m.

Medics were called to treat a white adult male who was complaining of pain in his back after the accident.
