Hit-and-run driver abandons vehicle in El Cajon

EL CAJON, CA – A hit-and-run was reported this morning in El Cajon. The California Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred at 1700 Harbison Canyon Road at around 7:21 a.m.

According to the police report, the authorities found an abandoned vehicle crashed into a pole near the roadway. The vehicle was cold to the touch and seemed to have been abandoned hours earlier.

No further details are known at this time.

Ford Explorer suspected in hit-and-run accident

SAN DIEGO, CA – A hit-and-run accident occurred this morning in San Diego. According to the California Highway Patrol’s incident reports, the collision happened on Interstate 805 near Interstate 8. A vehicle was traveling northbound on I-805 when a dark green Ford Explorer struck the victim vehicle and fled the scene.

The victim was not injured in the collision; however, their vehicle was damaged. Police in the area are currently searching for the suspected vehicle.

Hit-and-run in Temecula injuries at least one

SAN DIEGO, CA – A hit-and-run accident left at least one person injured in Temecula in an incident early Monday morning, according to CHP.

The accident happened at about 2:09 a.m. on Interstate 215 near Redlands Avenue. The initial accident happened when a tractor-trailer struck a grey sedan. An unknown vehicle then struck the grey sedan again.

The tractor-trailer stayed on the scene but the second vehicle fled after the accident.

The grey sedan was blocking the righthand lane.

At least one person was injured in the accident but details about the injuries have not been released.

Pregnant woman injured in hit-and-run on I-5

SAN DIEGO, CA – A pregnant woman’s car was struck in a hit-and-run accident on southbound Interstate 5 on Friday afternoon.

The collision was reported to CHP at about 3:21 p.m., and occurred in the southbound lanes near H Street. The accident left a white Toyota Camry in the center divide.

An ambulance had been called to the scene to treat the victim, a woman about 5 months pregnant. However, injuries have not been confirmed.

Police look for hit-and-run suspect near I-5

SAN DIEGO, CA – A hit-and-run was reported on Tuesday afternoon in San Deigo on Palamar Street, according to the local incident tracker.

The incident happened a few minutes before 11 a.m. near Interstate 5 on Palamar Street. The suspect was driving a gold Ford 150. The suspect left the vehicle at the Argo gas station in the area and walked away across the bridge to I-5.

The victim’s vehicle was pulled over to the right-hand side of the road. There were no injuries.

Officials were searching the area for the suspect following the accident.

Woman flees Altadena hit-and-run that injured two

SAN DIEGO, CA – A woman fled the scene of an accident on foot after injuring two individuals early Wednesday morning, according to Times of San Diego.

The woman lost control of her vehicle in the 3100 block of Thorn Street just after midnight. She struck a traffic sign and a parked and unoccupied vehicle before exiting her 2014 Nissan Sentra and fleeing on foot.

The Sentra’s two female passengers were both injured in the accident. A 19-year-old woman who had been seated in the front sustained a broken arm, dislocated shoulder and hip, and serious head injuries. The second passenger, a 26-year-old woman was seated in the back of the Sentra, suffered cerebral hemorrhaging.

Police are currently looking for the driver.

Hit-and-run accident on SR-52 leads to second collision

SAN DIEGO, CA – The California Highway Patrol reports of a hit-and-run accident this morning in San Diego. According to the report, one vehicle collided into another and then drove off. The victimized driver then chased after the suspected vehicle and crashed into them on westbound State Route 52 near North Fortuna Mountain Summit. Police arrived on the scene at around 9:47 a.m. and found both vehicles unable to drive and pulled over to the righthand side of the road.

One party told police that the incident was caused by a language barrier. At this time, it’s unclear what exactly that means to the accident. No injuries have been reported.

Woman suffers head injury in El Cajon hit-and-run accident

SAN DIEGO, CA – A woman sustained a head injury after being in a hit-and-run accident in El Cajon yesterday afternoon. The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident at westbound State Route 94 and College Avenue at around 1:45 p.m. The victim was driving her black Kia Forte when she was hit by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.

According to the report, the woman injured her head in the collision. Medics transported her to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time.

Hit-and-run accident in Oceanside

SAN DIEGO, CA – A hit-and-run accident occurred this morning in Oceanside. According to traffic reports from the California Highway Patrol, a white Crossover SUV was hit by another vehicle on northbound Interstate 15 and Gopher Canyon Road. Police arrived on the scene at around 11:30 a.m. and found the damaged vehicle parked near the off-road flower stand.
