BONSALL, CA – The California Highway Patrol reported a hit-and-run accident this morning in Bonsall west of the All Seasons RV Park. According to the incident report, the collision occurred on southbound Interstate 15 and Gopher Canyon at around 10:02 a.m.

The victim of the hit-and-run did not suffer any injuries in the collision.

Police say the suspected vehicle is a grey Scion.

No further information is known at this time.

Hit-and-run injury accident reported near Palm Ridge Park in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA – The California Highway Patrol reported a hit-and-run injury accident this morning near Palm Ridge Park in San Diego. According to the CHP’s accident logs, the collision occurred on Interstate 805 and Palm Avenue at around 9:41 a.m.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a silver Jeep SUV overturned on the side of the road. After speaking with the victim and witnesses, they discovered that the driver of the Jeep was the victim of a hit-and-run accident.

The victim suffered unknown injuries in the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Hit-and-run driver arrested after he returns to the scene in Cahuilla

CAHUILLA, CA – A hit-and-run driver was arrested this morning after he returned to the scene of an accident he caused last night near the Cahuilla Casino at Mountain Sky. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was arrested at 52702 State Route 371 at around 7:59 a.m.

The 30-year-old man crashed his vehicle into a fence and a curb, doing over $5,000 in damage.

When the suspect returned to the scene this morning, police say it took three security guards to detain him. It’s unclear why he returned to the site.

61-year-old man dies in hit-and-run accident in Kearny Mesa

KEARNY MESA, CA – A 61-year-old man died in a hit-and-run accident in Kearny Mesa yesterday afternoon. According to Fox 5 San Diego, the fatal crash occurred right outside Sharp Memorial Hospital at around 5:40 p.m.

The victim was taken into the hospital for treatment where he later died from his injuries.

ENCINITAS, CA – A hit-and-run accident occurred this morning in Encinitas. According to the California Highway Patrol’s traffic logs, the collision happened on southbound Interstate 5 and Leucadia Boulevard at around 7:06 a.m.

Witnesses told police that a white Nissan was swerving between the lanes and crashed into an orange barrel on the side of the roadway. The impact sent the barrel down the off-ramp. The Nissan then fled the scene.

Hit-and-run driver hits parked cars in Calavo Gardens area

EL CAJON, CA – The California Highway Patrol reported a hit-and-run this morning in El Cajon’s Calavo Gardens area. According to the incident report, the incident occurred at 301 Cajon View Drive at 5:49 a.m.

A grey Nissan was seen crashing into two parked cars alongside the road and then fleeing the scene. Nobody was in the parked cars when the collisions occurred.

Police are currently looking for the driver of the Nissan.

Hit-and-run driver crashes vehicle into residential home

EL CAJON, CA – The California Highway Patrol reported a hit-and-run accident this morning in an El Cajon neighborhood. According to the accident report, the collision occurred at 9634 Grandview Drive sometime overnight.

A motorist had crashed his blue Honda Accord into the wall of a residential home and then fled the scene, leaving the Honda sitting in the yard.

Police were able to apprehend the man at around 9:45 a.m. and have reported him as a 27-year-old male who lived in the area of the crash.

No injuries were reported in the accident.
