All lanes blocked following traffic collision on SR-78
RAMONA, CA – Authorities were forced to block all lanes along State Route 78 following a Thursday evening crash, Caltrans reports.
The accident occurred along the highway between 3rd Street and Magnolia Avenue at about 7:09 p.m.
SR-78 closed between 3rd St and Magnolia Ave in Ramona due to a traffic collision.

All lanes blocked following collision on SR-76
SAN DIEGO, TX – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol were forced to shut down several lanes on SR-76 following a traffic collision Wednesday afternoon.
According to Caltrans, the accident involving a tanker truck occurred shortly after 3 p.m. within the southbound lanes of the freeway near Community Church Drive.

No injuries have been reported immediately following the crash. However, troopers closed all eastbound lanes for nearly five hours while the accident was investigated and cleared from the roadway.

Single-vehicle collision reported along I-15
SAN DIEGO, CA – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision along I-15 late Wednesday morning.
According to CHP, the accident was reported shortly before 11 a.m. within the southbound lanes of I-15 near Black Mountain Open Space Park.
Troopers say the driver of the vehicle skidded off the roadway and collided with a tree. Two female occupants were able to exit the vehicle and were standing on the shoulder following the crash.
No injuries have been reported at this time. However, this situation is still developing. Motorists have been advised to proceed with caution in the area throughout Wednesday afternoon.

Multiple lanes closed following collision on I-15
SAN DIEGO, CA – Authorities were forced to block at least two lanes along I-15 following a multi-vehicle collision on I-15 Tuesday morning.
According to Caltrans, the accident occurred shortly before 10 a.m. within the southbound lanes of I-15 near Duenda Road.

Vista woman killed in suspected DUI collision
VISTA, CA – A 24-year-old woman was killed as the result of a suspected DUI crash in North San Diego Sunday night.
According to KUSI, the accident occurred along SR-78 near the exit to Sycamore Avenue at about 10:30 p.m.
Investigators believe the 36-year-old male driver of a Toyota Tacoma was driving east in the westbound lanes of SR-78 and crashed head-on with a Toyota Matrix.
Both drivers were seriously injured as a result of the crash. The woman in the Matrix succumbed to her injuries at the hospital a short time later.
The names of those involved are being withheld pending further investigation.

Fatality reported following SUV crash on SR-78
SAN MARCOS, CA – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol have reported one fatality resulting from a single-vehicle crash Monday morning.
According to the Times of San Diego, the accident occurred along Route 78 near East Barham Drive at about 10:30 a.m.
Investigators believe the 69-year-old male driver lost control of his vehicle, skidding across the eastbound lanes before colliding with a perimeter fence and overturning. His vehicle came to rest in the parking lot of a nearby carpeting store.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. His identity is being withheld pending further investigation into the crash.

Vehicle careens into San Diego apartment complex
SAN DIEGO, CA – Two people were taken to the hospital, and several evacuated after a vehicle crashed into an apartment building Wednesday afternoon.
According to KGTV, the accident occurred at the apartment complex within the 5000 block of Barstow Street at about 3:30 p.m. causing a gas leak within the building.
Both the driver responsible for the collision and an SDPD officer was transported to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries sustained as a result of the crash.

Suspected DUI collision reported in Fallbrook
FALLBROOK, CA – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to a suspected drunk driving collision along I-15 Wednesday morning.
According to CHP, troopers responded to reports of a Chevrolet Cruze swerving in and out of lanes along the freeway before colliding with a white Tesla near the exit to Old Highway 95 shortly before 7:30 a.m.
No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the collision at this time. However, this situation is still developing.

SAN DIEGO, CA – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol were forced to shut down at least two lanes along State Route 15 following a collision early Wednesday morning.
According to Caltrans, the accident occurred in the northbound lanes of SR-15 just north of the exit to El Cajon Boulevard shortly before 6 a.m.
