2 people were killed following a fiery crash on Highway 50 on ramp in Sacramento early Sunday morning, June 9, 2019, according to the California Highway Patrol officers. The crash reportedly occurred around 12:40 am. A black Chevrolet Sedan was travelling on the 15th street ramp to westbound Highway 50. The vehicle then veered off the right side of the roadway and into dirt, according to CHP south Sacramento. Afterwards, the vehicle crashed into a concrete side post foundation. The collision caused the Sedan to become airborne and rotate 180 degrees before landing, according to a news release from CHP. The car then became engulfed in flames. The 2 lone female occupants of the car were unable to leave the vehicle. Both of the vehicle’s occupants died at the crash site.
