Motorcyclist thrown from bike after collision on I-5

SAN DIEGO, CA – A motorcyclist was thrown from his bike after colliding with a vehicle on Interstate 5 on Thursday afternoon, according to CHP.

The rider was ejected from his bike after a collision with a pickup truck in the southbound lanes near State Route 163 at about 3:45 p.m. Vehicles began to stop around the accident which left the victim sprawled on the pavement in a righthand lane along with their motorcycle.

An ambulance responded to the scene but details on any injuries have not been released.

Update: Teenaged victim of San Marcos crash ID’d

SAN DIEGO, CA – According to the Times of San Diego, the identity of the 19-year-old man killed in a San Marcos crash Monday has been released.

Toby Langford was the only victim of a single-vehicle crash on Monday evening near Elijo Park. He lost control on a curve of Schoolhouse Way due to speeding at about 6:40 p.m. His Chevrolet pickup truck overturned and rolled down an embankment.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Accident pushes vehicle down embankment on SR 78

SAN DIEGO, CA – A two-vehicle traffic collision sent a vehicle down an embankment on State Route 78 Wednesday afternoon.

The accident was reported on the College Boulevard on-ramp at about 1:45 p.m. The vehicles involved were a white pickup truck and a red sedan. Police arrived on the scene to find the pickup about six feet down an embankment on the right-hand side of the road. The red sedan was facing the wrong way on the on-ramp.

No injuries have been reported at this time. Further details on have not been released.
