Three children hospitalized after Oceanside crash

SAN DIEGO, CA – Three children and two other people were injured in a rollover accident on Interstate 5 in Oceanside on Thursday morning.

According to CHP, a vehicle overturned in the middle of the northbound lanes near Manchester Avenue after colliding with a second vehicle at about 10:17 a.m.

All five occupants of the Honda SUV were injured in the accident, including three toddlers that were taken to a local hospital. One of the victims was ejected in the accident, another sustained lacerations.

Several lanes were closed immediately and for more than an hour after the accident.

Car drives into house, hits gas line in Oceanside

SAN DIEGO, CA  – Emergency crews were addressing a gas leak after a vehicle crashed in a house in Oceanside on Wednesday morning.

According to CHP, a car drove into the bottom of an Oceanside home and hit a gas line in the 300 block of Barsby Street at about 5:30 a.m.

Authorities called for backup to direct traffic in the area of North Taylor Street and Godwin Drive to keep vehicles away from the accident scene as they attempted to stop the gas leak.

An ambulance was called to the scene but injuries have not been confirmed.

Pregnant woman needs treatment after Oceanside accident

SAN DIEGO, CA – An ambulance was called to treat a pregnant woman after a car accident in a residential area of Oceanside on Wednesday morning.

According to CHP, a Toyota Sonota crashed with a second vehicle in the 200 block of Robelini Drive at about 11:30 a.m. The woman in the second, unidentified, vehicle was pregnant.

An ambulance was requested to treat the pregnant woman after the crash. Details of her condition have not been updated.

Person unconscious after Oceanside crash

SAN DIEGO, CA – More than one party needed medical attention after a three-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 in Oceanside on Tuesday morning.

According to CHP, a black Chevrolet Bolt was driving north when it spun out south of the San Clemente Border Patrol Station at about 11:30 a.m. The vehicle hit a tractor-trailer then spun around and hit a grey sedan. The tractor-trailer and grey sedan ended up in the center divide while the Bolt came to rest across the travel lanes.

Multiple medics were requested to treat people on both sides of the travel lanes. One person was reported to be unconscious. It is unclear how many people were injured in the crash.

According to CHP, a black Chevrolet hatchback and a black Toyota sedan crashed on Old Highway 395 near Rainbow Valley Boulevard at about 4:30 p.m.

No injuries reported in two-vehicle crash in Oceanside

SAN DIEGO, CA – An ambulance responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Oceanside on Monday afternoon, according to CHP.

An unidentified vehicle struck four other vehicles Interstate 15 north near Encinitas Boulevard after a crash at about 3:20 p.m. Two of the cars were blocking the fast lane and were disabled by the accident. They were moved from blocking traffic to the righthand side while awaiting tow trucks.

An ambulance was initially called to the scene no one was injured in the accident.

Occupants abandon car after crash in Oceanside

SAN DIEGO, CA – According to CHP, the several occupants of a Honda Civic abandoned their car after spinning out and crashing on Interstate 15 in Oceanside on Wednesday morning.

The grey Honda Civic crashed in the center divide in the northbound lanes near State Route 76 after spinning out for unknown reasons at about 4:50 a.m.

The car was carrying three or four occupants who were all seen walking away from the vehicle. When emergency crews arrived they found the car abandoned and attempted to search for the parties who had started northbound along the freeway in the dark.

It is unknown whether any of the involved parties suffered injuries.

SAN DIEGO, CA – At least one person was injured in an Oceanside car accident on Interstate 15 on Wednesday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.

Details surrounding the crash are still unclear, however, a traffic collision resulted in a vehicle in the northbound side in the center divide near Mesa Rock Road at about 11:30 a.m.

Two vehicles involved collision on State Route 78

SAN DIEGO, CA – Two vehicles were involved in a crash that sent a vehicle across all the lanes into the center divide in Oceanside on Monday.

According to the CHP traffic tracker, a woman was driving east in a dark-colored Ford when she collided with a truck just past Emerald Drive on State Route 78. The impact sent her vehicle across the travel lanes into the center divide.

Firefighters responded to the crash scene along with an ambulance. Injuries have not been confirmed.

SAN DIEGO, CA – One person was injured in after striking a tree on a residential street in Oceanside on Monday afternoon, according to CHP.

A vehicle struck a tree near the intersection of Knoll Park Lane and East Mission Road at about 3:08 p.m.

According to the person who reported the accident, the driver was about to exit their vehicle under their own power but was limping after the accident.
