Single-vehicle crash reported just after midnight in Oceanside

OCEANSIDE, CA – A single-vehicle crash was reported early this morning near Oceanside Harbor Beach in Oceanside. According to Caltrans San Diego, the collision occurred on northbound Interstate 5 near the State Route 76 connector road at around 12:36 a.m. At this time, no details on what led to the collision have been released to the public.

The left lane was reopened about an hour after the incident, and the remaining lanes reopened within the following hour.

Oceanside collision reported near Pala Casina

SAN DIEGO, CA – A traffic collision involving two vehicles was reported in Oceanside early Monday morning, according to a regional CHP incident report.

The accident happened at the intersection of Pala Mission Road and Pala Temecula Road at about 5:30 a.m. A Ford 150 pickup truck collided with a Toyota Prius near the Pala Casino.

There were no injuries in the accident.

A tow truck was called to the scene, as the vehicles were not drivable. The tow truck was delayed due to Monday morning traffic.

Five injured in Oceanside crash

OCEANSIDE, CA – Five people were injured—three seriously—when their vehicles collided in Oceanside late Monday afternoon, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

An unidentified car ran a red light at the corner of Rancho Del Oro Drive and Mesa Drive at 4:25 p.m., crashing into a second vehicle and then overturning and landing on its roof. Firefighters extricated two occupants from one car, and a single occupant from the other. All three were airlifted to local hospitals, including an 11-year-old child.

The other two victims were taken to the hospital by ambulance. All five are expected to survive.

Oceanside freeway accident injures one

OCEANSIDE, CA – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision on I-15 near Mission Avenue early Tuesday morning, according to California Highway Patrol officers. 

The incident began on the 15 Freeway, around 12:54 a.m. and involved at least two cars, and possibly two semi-trucks. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the trucks had pulled to the side of the road near where the two passenger vehicles had collided.

One person was injured in the collision and was transported to a hospital. Officers at the scene were unable to find a cause of the collision, but a more in-depth investigation is forthcoming.

OCEANSIDE, CA – A two-car collision was reported to California Highway Patrol at 12:21 p.m. at the corner of Pleiades Drive and Buena Creek Road.

Two tow trucks have been requested to the scene.

No injuries were reported at this time.
