A woman was killed and several other people injured in a 2 boat collision in Discovery Bay, CA on Saturday evening, September 14, 2019. The accident happened east of the Contra Costa-San Joaquin county line. The 2 boats reportedly collided into one another past 7 pm close to Ski Beach, on the Middle River, 4 miles east of Discovery Bay. 5 people involved in the accident were injured. The accident was initially believed to had been a hit-and-run accident. The second boat left the scene before the sheriff’s deputies arrived.
