An 11-year old boy identified as Jayden Jaimes died on Sunday, August 25, 2019, after he drowned in the Merced River in Mariposa County, CA. The boy was reportedly trying to swim across the said river with his family when he drowned. Jaimes’ family reportedly did CPR on him and tried to rescue him after the incident. Jaimes later died in a hospital after he was taken there following the incident.
