3 people were killed and 18 others were injured in a bus rollover crash close to Fallbrook, CA on Saturday morning, February 22, 2020. A charter bus reportedly swerved on the rain-slicked Interstate 15, and rolled down an embankment. A 5 year old child was critically injured in the accident with a head injury. 17 other people were also injured. A total of 21 people were the occupants of the said bus. 17 passengers were thrown out of the bus during the accident. One of the people killed in the accident was trapped under the vehicle after it landed on its roof. The accident happened on southbound Interstate 15, close to State Route 76. 17 passengers sustained injuries ranging from non-life to life-threatening. 3 people killed in the accident were all women. Majority of the passengers of the bus involved in the accident appeared to had not been wearing seatbelts at the time the accident happened. The driver of the bus sustained minor injuries, and was not taken to a hospital for treatment.
