A woman sustained life threatening injuries and another woman was also seriously injured in a 2-vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore, CA. The accident happened along I-15. The accident was reported at about 11 am on Saturday, February 22, 2020, in the northbound lanes of I-15. A 79-year old woman was driving a 1999 Mercedes-Benz SLK in the right hand lane of I-15. A 45-year old woman driving a 2017 Subaru Forester in the same direction on I-15 caused her vehicle to drift into the Mercedes’ lane, and, thus, hit the Mercedes. The Subaru then drifted off of the road, went up an embankment, and crashed into a sign pole. The Mercedes rolled over, thus, ejecting the said vehicle’s female driver from the driver’s seat. The female driver of the Mercedes sustained life threatening injuries. The female driver of the Subaru was also seriously injured.
